Frequently asked questions
How much does CooMeet cost?+
CooMeet runs a free model, and paid features stay optional. Membership starts at $1.99, while private rooms are charged through the minutes and points system in Minutes and points; 1 minute = 0.50 USD. Your bill therefore depends on how long you stay in a private room.
What is free on CooMeet?+
Free chat on site is available with restrictions, and a trial version lets you look before paying. Free shows are part of the offering too, and 10 to 100 free minutes with Premium packages are included with Premium packages. Private rooms and longer calls fall under the paid minutes and points model.
How are private shows billed?+
Private shows cost $0.50 a minute, above the site median of €0.62. Charges run in minutes and points, so a longer private session adds up quickly. Keeping sessions short is the simple way to hold the per-minute rate down.
Which plans are on offer?+
Plans cover 3-day trial, 1 month, 3, 6 months, 30 days, and membership fees run $1.99 to $9.99 with the entry point at $1.99. Paid durations differ in total, so compare them before settling on a term. Every plan sits under the same cancellation terms, and the trial is a separate option from the paid durations.
Can I cancel and get a refund?+
Cancellation terms let you cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled on request rather than automatically, so a refund depends on the company agreeing to it. Set a reminder before the renewal date if you do not want another period to start.
Where is my data stored?+
The privacy policy is GDPR-style, and data is stored mainly in the EEA, which matters for readers weighing data location. Paid features run on minutes and points, so your billing trail follows how long you use private rooms. Data questions go to the company through its listed support channels.
How does CooMeet check ages and identity?+
Age checks start with a declared minimum age at registration, followed by automatic face recognition and gesture checks. Passport details are requested for female accounts as part of the same process. The checks run on signup, so verification happens before regular use rather than on request later.
Is there a mobile app?+
A mobile app is available, and the Google Play listing shows Google Play 3.1, 4.43K reviews, Sep 2026. Call quality is listed as HD, and the show types cover random video chat, audio calls and HD video calls. Feature support lists hd and mobile, so phones carry the main features rather than a cut-down version.
