Our verdict
nHentai is a free doujin library for adults who want hentai pages they can read and download without a subscription. Nothing here is billed, and the one thing it gives up against the sites next to it is range: it runs 1 site and no VR content.

Using the service
nHentai works as one site rather than a network: 1 site is listed, and MuchoHentai by comparison lists 8. The library is hentai only, so nothing else is mixed in. Downloads are supported, which lets pages be kept on a device for later reading. VR content is not offered, where Faphouse.com and Pornhub Premium both include it. Support runs on email.

Frequently asked questions
How much does nHentai cost?+
Nothing. The price model is free, so there is no subscription to buy and no billing details to enter. Readers who want a paid hentai option should look at MuchoHentai instead.
Can I download pages from nHentai?+
Yes. Downloads are supported, which is the main practical reason the site is worth using. That makes it a good fit for adults who read on a phone and want pages kept for later.
Does nHentai have VR content?+
No. VR content is not offered, which is where Faphouse.com and Pornhub Premium both score better for readers with a headset.
How many sites does nHentai cover?+
It is a single site, with 1 listed. MuchoHentai lists 8, so readers who want variety across a network have more choice elsewhere.
What kinds of material does nHentai host?+
The catalogue is hentai only, listed under hentai. There is no mixed live or premium content, so it suits readers who specifically want hentai doujin pages.
How do I get help on nHentai?+
Support runs on email only, so queries go by email. There is no chat or phone line listed, which matters if a billing question ever needs a quick answer.
Who runs nHentai and where is it based?+
The site is run by X Separator LLC and is based in the United States. It has been operating since 2014.
Is nHentai regulated or licensed?+
No regulator or licence is listed for the service, so there is no certification to check against. Readers who want a regulated operator should compare the licensed options listed on the site.
