Using the service
World Singles is a general dating service rather than a specialist one. Membership is international, with International singles, many ethnicities on the site, so you browse people from a range of places and backgrounds instead of one local scene. The site reports Over 8 million connections. That scale is the main draw if you want choice, and the main drawback if you want a tightly defined community. The service is listed as app.
Billing and cancelling
Privacy defaults are restrained for a dating service. Messages are handled in a double-blind way, and your email address and date of birth are not shared with other members, according to Double-blind messages; email and DOB not shared. Paid plans follow Auto-renews; email 'Cancel Service'; no refund, so renewal is automatic and a cancellation has to be requested. Keep a note of the request route so a renewal is not a surprise on your statement.
What is free and what costs
The entry point costs nothing: Free to join; some features need a paid plan. Joining is free, though some features sit behind a paid plan. For comparison, Senior.dk Dating also offers Free signup and browsing; contact needs paid VIP, while BDSM-baari keeps Forum use is free of charge separate from any paid features. World Singles sets its paid option in Free plus paid Platinum Membership, so the free tier covers the basics rather than the whole service.
Members and plans
The service describes its members as International singles, many ethnicities and reports Over 8 million connections. A pool that size gives you plenty to browse, though the variety also means results depend on how you filter. Free plus paid Platinum Membership sets the structure: a free membership with a paid Platinum Membership above it. The site is listed under casual.
The company behind it
The operator is World Singles, LLC, based in the United States, and the service has run since 2001, a long record for a dating site. Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so a billing question can be raised through more than one route. A long operating history is useful context when you are about to pay a plan.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free to join?+
Yes. Free to join; some features need a paid plan means you can register and browse without paying. Some features are reserved for a paid plan, so the free tier works as a way to look around rather than a complete service.
What plans are there?+
Free plus paid Platinum Membership sets out the structure: a free membership and a paid Platinum Membership above it. The paid tier is what opens the features held back on the free tier, and the terms describe the paid plan as renewing automatically.
How are profiles checked?+
No screening or background checks is the honest answer. The service does not screen members or run background checks, so nothing independently confirms that a profile matches the person behind it. Findom.com makes a different claim, stating verified members cash out tokens.
How do I cancel a paid plan?+
Auto-renews; email 'Cancel Service'; no refund explains the route. The paid plan auto-renews, and a cancellation is handled by email request rather than a switch in your settings, with no refund once a plan has run. Read those terms before you upgrade.
What does the service share about me?+
Double-blind messages; email and DOB not shared covers the main points. Messages are double-blind, and your email address and date of birth are not shared with other members. The operator named in the terms is World Singles, LLC, so check its terms and privacy pages for what is kept on file.
Is there an app?+

Who is it aimed at?+
International singles, many ethnicities describes the membership, and the site reports Over 8 million connections. That makes it a reasonable fit for adults seeking casual dating with a wide pool of people. The site is categorised under casual for the casual niche.
Who runs it and where?+
The operator is World Singles, LLC, based in the United States, and the service has run since 2001. If a billing question comes up, support is listed as email, phone and help centre, so you have more than one route to the company.
