Pros and cons
Pros
- Free to start: Manga RPG runs on a free to play basis, while yoummee runs on a subscription model and 3DXChat on a subscription one.
- web, android and ios are covered, so the same game works in a browser and on a phone with no console involved.
- The game is role playing throughout, so the format is clear before you commit any time to it.
- Leaving is simple: with free as the model, there is no recurring charge to cancel.
Cons
- Support runs on community only, with no direct help channel named.
- A help centre is listed for 75.5% of the tracked sites, while Manga RPG names community.
- free to play is the only price model named, so there is no paid tier to weigh the base game against.
Who it suits
- Adults who want to try a role playing game without a subscription, since Manga RPG runs on a free to play basis.
- Players who move between a computer and a phone, since web, android and ios are all covered.
- Readers who are comfortable asking other players, since community is the only support route named.
Who should look elsewhere
- Readers who want a subscription rather than free-to-start play: yoummee and AChat charge on a subscription and a subscription model.
- Readers who need a direct help channel, since Manga RPG names community only and 3DXChat, on a subscription model, is a service to check for a different setup.
How it works
Manga RPG is a role playing game, so play is built around a character and the story around them. Access covers web, android and ios, which means the same world opens on a desktop browser and on a phone, and you can move between them without starting over. The role playing format also keeps the rules consistent, so what you pick up in an early session still applies later.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of game is Manga RPG?+
It is listed as a role playing game, so play is built around a character and the story around them rather than a chat feed. That format gives you goals to work toward instead of a stream of messages to read. If your usual session is about a story that moves forward, this is the sort of game that fits.
Is Manga RPG free?+
Yes. Manga RPG is listed with a free model and a free to play price model, so no subscription is named and no charge appears. That makes it the low-cost side of the comparison: yoummee runs on a subscription model, so choosing it means a recurring bill instead.
What devices can I play Manga RPG on?+
web, android and ios are all covered, so the game opens in a browser on a computer and in an app on a phone. The browser build lets you take a look before you install anything, and the mobile build keeps the game with you when you travel, which suits a game with an ongoing story.
Can I get help if something goes wrong?+
Support runs on community, so questions go to other players rather than a direct help desk. For context, a help centre is listed for 75.5% of the tracked sites and email support for 90.1%. That setup suits players who are comfortable asking the community.
Is there a paid tier?+
No paid tier is named. The only price model given is free to play, so there is nothing to upgrade to and no feature set tied to a paid level. Recurring plans are the norm elsewhere: yoummee and 3DXChat both charge on a subscription model.
How common is this price model on adult games?+
In the adult games ranking, 85.2% of the sites use a free model and 40% use a free-to-play model, so Manga RPG sits with the larger group. Free-to-play is also the most common price model on the wider comparison, at 40%.
Who is Manga RPG for?+
It suits adults who want a role playing game to try at no cost and who are happy to use web, android and ios on whichever device is to hand. It is a poor fit if you want a subscription service instead of a game: AChat runs on a subscription model.
Is there a subscription to cancel?+
There is no subscription to cancel: the model is free and the price model is free to play. Recurring billing only comes into play if you pick a subscription site, where yoummee charges on a subscription model. Read the billing terms of whichever site you choose before you start a recurring plan.
