Our verdict
SoulFun suits adults who want voice, image and video companions in the same app and can pay $19.99 a month for premium access. It costs more than CrushOn.AI and Dippy AI, and its content policy narrows how far roleplay can go in practice.

Memory, voice and media
SoulFun builds the media side of a companion rather than a long memory layer. Voice is included in the paid tier, and voice messages are billed at the rate set out in 1000 coins/month; text 1 coin, voice 10/min, where text costs a single coin. Image generation and video generation are both available, so a chat can move from text to pictures and short video without leaving the app. The listing gives no detail on how conversation memory is stored or how long a companion keeps context, so if recall is the deciding factor for you, ask before you subscribe. What is clear is that the paid tier covers voice and roleplay, and the free tier covers text on 10+ AI soulmates unlimited; premium adds coins.
How it works
SoulFun runs on web, ios and android, so a subscription started on the web carries over to the phone apps. Companions are offered in female and anime personas, and the free tier gives unlimited text with a set group of companions listed in 10+ AI soulmates unlimited; premium adds coins. The paid tier adds free and premium options along with voice and roleplay, and image and video generation sit in the same flow. A typical session is a text conversation that can turn into a voice exchange, then into a generated image or clip, with coin spending tracked through 1000 coins/month; text 1 coin, voice 10/min.
Pricing and free tier
The paid tier is $19.99 a month, which is a single figure rather than a range, and it sits above both $3.90 to $14.90 and $4.99 to $12.99. Free access is genuinely broad: 10+ AI soulmates unlimited; premium adds coins, so you can read what you are getting before paying anything. Spend inside the paid tier runs through coins under 1000 coins/month; text 1 coin, voice 10/min, and voice is the expensive end of that scale, which means the monthly figure is a starting point rather than a cap. If a fixed ceiling matters to you, watch your balance.
Who runs it
SoulFun is based in Hong Kong, and its privacy policy states that chats and uploads are kept on servers in that same place. That matters if you are in the EU, where data staying in the region is the usual expectation. Age rules are also regional: Under 13 excluded; EU users must be 16+ is the stated position. Support runs on email and community, so help arrives by email or through the community, with no live chat or phone line listed.

That figure is higher than $3.90 to $14.90 and $4.99 to $12.99, and it sits above the category median of €13.15. Spending inside the plan draws on coins under 1000 coins/month; text 1 coin, voice 10/min, so the monthly figure is a starting point rather than a ceiling.
Is there a free tier on SoulFun?+
Yes, and it is one of the broader ones. 10+ AI soulmates unlimited; premium adds coins describes a set of companions with unlimited use, and the free tier also runs on free and premium. Voice, image generation and video generation are listed on the paid side, so treat free use as a way to read the format before paying $19.99.
Does SoulFun have voice calls, and what do they cost?+
Voice is included, and the billing is set out in 1000 coins/month; text 1 coin, voice 10/min, where voice is charged per minute against the monthly coin allowance and text costs a single coin. That makes voice the heavier side of the balance, so frequent calls will use the allowance faster than text. The free tier is text based under 10+ AI soulmates unlimited; premium adds coins.
Can I get mature or explicit content on SoulFun?+
No. Explicit sexual content prohibited by content policy is the stated position, so the paid tier can offer roleplay but not explicit sexual content. If that rules the service out for you, compare the category niches instead, where 80% share of listings lean that way. Adult content policy is worth checking on any site before you sign up.
Where are my chats stored?+
Your chats and uploads are kept on servers in Hong Kong, and the company is also based there. The privacy policy is explicit about the location, which is useful if you want to know where your conversations sit. If you are in the EU, data leaving the region is a point to weigh, and age rules there follow Under 13 excluded; EU users must be 16+.
Does SoulFun have phone apps?+
Yes. web, ios and android covers web, iOS and Android, so you can start on the web and continue on your phone. Companions come in female and anime personas, with voice and roleplay on the paid tier. Image and video generation sit in the same app, so a session does not need to change platform.
How do I get help from SoulFun?+
Support runs on email and community, which means email and the community forum. There is no live chat or phone support listed, so a billing question is likely to take a written reply. Keep your receipts and your coin balance handy, since 1000 coins/month; text 1 coin, voice 10/min tracks spending on the account.
Who is SoulFun suited to?+
It suits adults who want voice, image and video in a single companion and who prefer a coin balance to per-minute billing, since voice is charged under 1000 coins/month; text 1 coin, voice 10/min. It suits you less if your budget is tight, because $19.99 is above $3.90 to $14.90 and $4.99 to $12.99. Readers who want mature content should look elsewhere, given Explicit sexual content prohibited by content policy.
