Pros and cons
Pros
- Voice, image generation and video generation are all available, with voice and roleplay as the listed feature set.
- Ratings in the US App Store stand at App Store (US) 4.7/5 from 57,665 ratings.
- Free chat with AI characters keeps the entry point open, and the paid tier sits at $9.99 a month.
- Age checks are built in, App Store 18+ rating with Age Assurance controls, so adults get a stated content boundary.
Cons
- The privacy disclosure is built around tracking: Identifiers used to track across apps and sites.
- Extras are bought in a second currency, Gems and coins sold in-app, $1.99 to $19.99, so spend can rise above $9.99.
- Availability is ios only, so there is no other app to move to if the device changes.
- The monthly price of $9.99 sits just above the €9.70 mark for the lower quartile across the site.
Who it suits
- Adults on iOS who want an anime-styled companion and a voice conversation.
- Readers who want image and video creation inside the same app as the chat.
- Anyone comfortable with App Store billing and a monthly subscription of $9.99.
Who should look elsewhere
- Xtease, for adults who want to sign up and browse with no card needed before paying anything.
- CrushOn.AI, for readers whose budget sits at the lower end of $3.90 to $14.90.
- Dippy AI, for anyone cross-checking a different monthly range, $4.99 to $12.99, before settling.
Using the service
Talkie covers the three paths adults ask about most. Voice is available, image generation is available, and video generation is available, so a conversation can be spoken, illustrated and turned into motion without leaving the app. The service is listed for ios, so the experience is built for a single mobile platform rather than a desktop or browser client.
Memory, voice and media
Voice is supported, so replies can move past typing. Image generation and video generation are both available, which puts still pictures and motion clips in the same place as the conversation. Read the media claims on their own terms: voice, images and video are the documented parts of the experience, and a reader deciding on recall should treat that as a separate question.
Where you can use it
Talkie is listed for ios, so one device family is covered and there is no second app to install alongside it. Its standing in the US App Store is App Store (US) 4.7/5 from 57,665 ratings, drawn from a wide pool of public scores rather than a thin one. That is the clearest signal here for a reader weighing a new app.
What is free and what costs
Free chat with AI characters means the app can be opened without a spend, so a reader can judge it before paying. The paid tier is $9.99 a month, and the yearly plan rate is $4.17. Extras run on a second currency: Gems and coins sold in-app, $1.99 to $19.99. Treat the monthly figure as the starting point rather than the ceiling, since gem and coin purchases sit outside it.

Frequently asked questions
How much is Talkie each month?+
The monthly price is $9.99, and the yearly plan rate is $4.17. Chat itself costs nothing, so the subscription is an optional step. Across the brands the site tracks, monthly prices sit near a €14.01 median, which leaves Talkie in the middle of the field rather than at either edge.
What is free on Talkie, and what costs extra?+
Free chat with AI characters is the no-spend part of the app. The model list covers free and premium options, and anything bought in the store uses a separate currency, Gems and coins sold in-app, $1.99 to $19.99. A reader can open the app, talk, and decide before any of the in-app spending starts.
Is Talkie limited to adults?+
Yes. The listing records 18+ rating, in-app controls restrict some content, and age checks run through App Store 18+ rating with Age Assurance controls. Because in-app controls restrict some content, the app states its own limits rather than leaving the boundary open. Anyone below the adult threshold sits outside the intended audience.
What does Talkie say about privacy?+
The App Store disclosure is short and centred on tracking: Identifiers used to track across apps and sites. The publisher named on the listing is SUBSUP PTE. LTD. Readers who weigh privacy should treat that tracking line as the fact to check before they create an account and start a conversation.
Which devices run Talkie?+
Talkie is listed for ios only. Its standing in the US App Store is App Store (US) 4.7/5 from 57,665 ratings. A single platform means an adult who changes phone ecosystems has no version to carry across, which suits readers who keep the same device family for a long stretch.
What kind of characters does Talkie offer?+
The persona style listed is anime, and the headline features are voice and roleplay. That gives the roster a defined look rather than a mixed catalogue of styles. Adults who want a specific art style will find the range narrow.
How does billing work on Talkie?+
Bills run through the App Store subscription at $9.99 a month, and the yearly plan rate is $4.17. Extra purchases run on the in-app currency, Gems and coins sold in-app, $1.99 to $19.99, so a heavy user can spend more than the subscription alone. For a reader on a budget, the no-spend chat is the part to start with.
