Our verdict
Nomi.ai suits adults who want a companion with real memory, voice and image generation, and who will pay more for the fuller feature set. It costs $15.99 a month, above what CrushOn.AI and Dippy AI charge, and a chat tier opens without a card.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Memory runs from short to long-term context (Short, medium and long-term memory), so a companion holds details over time.
- Voice and image generation are both offered, so a single app covers text, speech and pictures.
- You can chat before you pay (Free chat tier, no card needed; message caps), with no card asked for at sign-up.
- Support covers email, help centre and community.
- The yearly rate is $8.33, a smaller figure than the monthly subscription.
Cons
- Monthly cost is $15.99, above CrushOn.AI at $3.90 to $14.90 and Dippy AI at $4.99 to $12.99.
- Add-ons are sold as Nomi Credits packs (Nomi Credits packs for add-ons), so heavier use adds a charge on top of the plan.
- Platforms are listed as ios, so Android and desktop users have no build to install.
- Deletion on request is available, but a training archive is exempt (Deletion on request; training archive exempt), so a deleted profile can still sit in a training set.
Who it suits
- You want memory with a long horizon (Short, medium and long-term memory) and can pay $15.99 a month for it.
- You are on iOS, since platforms are ios.
- You want an unfiltered, uncensored policy for adults (Unfiltered, uncensored; 18+ users only) with an age check at sign-up (18+; date of birth required at sign-up).
Who should look elsewhere
- Budget comes first: CrushOn.AI lists $3.90 to $14.90 a month and Dippy AI lists $4.99 to $12.99, both below Nomi.ai's $15.99.
- You want open-ended free browsing before choosing: Xtease has Free signup and browsing, no card needed, while the chat tier here comes with message caps (Free chat tier, no card needed; message caps).
Where you can use it
Nomi.ai lists iOS as its platform (ios), and that single build is the whole product. Android and desktop are not part of the platform list, so readers on other devices have to look elsewhere. In the US App Store the app shows App Store (US) 4.6/5 from 2,858 ratings, which gives you a read on how users rate it before you pay anything.
What is free and what costs
The subscription is $15.99 a month and the yearly plan is listed at $8.33. That is the highest monthly figure among the brands compared here: CrushOn.AI lists $3.90 to $14.90 a month and Dippy AI lists $4.99 to $12.99. You do not need a card to begin, because Free chat tier, no card needed; message caps. Add-ons run through a separate balance, Nomi Credits packs for add-ons, so picture and voice extras are paid for outside the plan rather than folded into it. The entry point is cheap, the free tier caps how far a chat goes, and the packs sit on top.
Memory, voice and media
Memory is the part of the offer that pays off over time: Short, medium and long-term memory. Voice is available, and image generation is available as well, so a single app covers conversation, speech and pictures. Roleplay is listed as a headline feature alongside them (voice and roleplay). Together, memory depth and the media tools are what pull this above a plain chat window, and they are the reason to look past the headline price.

Frequently asked questions
How much is Nomi.ai a month?+
A monthly subscription is $15.99 and the yearly plan is listed at $8.33. That monthly figure is the highest among the brands compared here, with CrushOn.AI at $3.90 to $14.90 and Dippy AI at $4.99 to $12.99. Add-ons are billed separately as Nomi Credits packs, so the subscription price is not the whole bill.
Can I use Nomi.ai without paying?+
Yes. Free chat tier, no card needed; message caps. That means you can open the app and hold a conversation before you commit to a plan, and no card is needed at sign-up. The limit is message caps, so longer chats reach the ceiling. Readers who want open-ended browsing before they choose should look at Xtease, which has Free signup and browsing, no card needed.
What does the yearly plan cost?+
The yearly plan is listed at $8.33, a lower figure than the $15.99 monthly subscription. Paying for the year up front replaces the monthly rate and is the cheaper route to the same access. Keep in mind the add-ons sit outside both, since Nomi Credits packs for add-ons covers them separately.
What are Nomi Credits?+
Nomi Credits are the add-on balance: Nomi Credits packs for add-ons. Anything sitting outside the core subscription is paid for by topping up packs, which keeps the extra spend separate from the $15.99 plan. If you lean on image generation or voice, the packs matter more than the tier. If you mostly text, Free chat tier, no card needed; message caps may be enough to decide.
Does Nomi.ai remember previous conversations?+
Short, medium and long-term memory. That is the part of the offer that pays off over time, since a companion can hold the recent exchange and older details together instead of starting each session from nothing. It is the strongest reason to move past the free chat tier, which comes with message caps (Free chat tier, no card needed; message caps).
Can I talk to the companion and generate pictures?+
Voice is available, and image generation is available as well, so a single app covers conversation, speech and pictures without a second service. Roleplay is listed as a headline feature alongside them (voice and roleplay). These extras are paid for through packs, so expect Nomi Credits packs for add-ons to matter if you lean on them heavily.
Which devices can I use Nomi.ai on?+
iOS, and only iOS: ios. There is no Android build and no desktop app in that list, so anyone on another phone system has to look elsewhere. The US App Store listing shows App Store (US) 4.6/5 from 2,858 ratings, a useful check on how users rate the app before you pay.
What happens to my data if I want it deleted?+
Deletion on request; training archive exempt, and the operator is Glimpse.ai, Inc., registered in the United States. Deletion on request is available, but a training archive is exempt, so a profile you delete can still sit in a data set used for training. If a clean removal matters to you, raise the exemption before you commit, since it is written into the policy.
Is Nomi.ai for adults only?+
Yes. 18+; date of birth required at sign-up, so a date of birth is collected when you sign up, and the content policy is Unfiltered, uncensored; 18+ users only. That combination matters for readers who care about filtering: this is an adult product with no content restrictions applied, and the age check happens at sign-up rather than later in a conversation.
